Praying for Nigeria

Heavenly Father, we lift up the nation of Nigeria before Your throne of grace. We pray for a profound outpouring of Your Spirit upon its people, that hearts may be turned toward the light of the Gospel. May the leaders and government be granted wisdom from above, guiding them to lead with integrity and justice. We intercede for peace to reign across every region, displacing discord with Your perfect shalom. Lord, strengthen the church in Nigeria to be a city set on a hill, shining brightly and influencing the land for Your Kingdom. We proclaim that Your righteousness exalts a nation and we ask that Your truth prevails in every sector. May many souls be drawn into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, experiencing the transformative power of His love. We trust in Your sovereign hand over the destiny of this country, believing that You are working all things for good. Protect the vulnerable, provide for the needy, and let a spirit of unity prevail among the diverse communities. May Your favor rest upon the land as they seek Your face, turning from all paths that do not align with Your Word. We pray for an awakening that shakes the foundations of darkness and establishes a new season of divine hope and prosperity for all. Amen.
