Praying for Ethiopia

Heavenly Father, we lift up Ethiopia to You, a nation with a rich heritage and a destiny in Your hands. We pray for its people, that they may find unity and strength in You, walking in the light of Your countenance. We ask for Your divine hand to rest upon the leaders and government, granting them wisdom to lead with justice and a commitment to the common good. We pray for deep, lasting peace to reside within the borders of Ethiopia, bringing healing to all who have suffered. Lord, empower the church to be a beacon of truth and a community of grace that reflects the love of Jesus Christ to every person. May the message of salvation reach every heart, drawing them into the freedom of the Gospel. We seek Your guidance for the nation, trusting that Your ways are higher than ours. As it is declared that Ethiopia shall stretch out her hands to God, we ask for a mighty outpouring of Your Spirit. May the economy, the communities, and the families be touched by Your favor, and may Your truth be the standard by which all things are measured. We look to You, the source of all wisdom and peace, to sustain and direct this nation. Amen.
