Praying for Afghanistan

Lord, we lift up the nation of Afghanistan to You, asking for Your divine intervention and protection. We pray for the people, that You would sustain them through every trial and reveal Yourself as their ultimate Hope. We ask that You influence the hearts of those in government, that they might act with justice and mercy. Lord, we especially pray for the remnant of believers in this nation; protect them under the shadow of Your wings and keep them steadfast in their faith. May they be empowered to walk in love even when surrounded by hardship. We pray that the gospel of Jesus Christ would spread secretly but powerfully, bringing light into the most challenging places. Grant the people dreams and visions of Your love, that they may seek You and find You when they search for You with all their heart. We stand against the powers of darkness and declare that Your truth shall prevail. May the name of Jesus be exalted in the valleys and the mountains of this land. We believe for a future of peace, restoration, and salvation for the people of Afghanistan, trusting in Your unfailing grace and mercy.
