Praying for China

Heavenly Father, we lift up the vast nation of China before Your throne of grace. Lord, we pray that Your light would shine in every corner, piercing through every darkness with the radiance of the Gospel. We intercede for the people, asking that You would turn their hearts toward the truth of Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life. May Your Holy Spirit move mightily among the leadership and those in authority, granting them wisdom and the fear of the Lord as they govern. We pray specifically for the church within China, that it would remain steadfast and rooted in Your Word, standing firm like a tree planted by living water. Let Your peace settle upon this land, breaking every chain and setting the captives free. We declare that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper, for the counsel of the Lord shall stand forever. May the name of Jesus be exalted from the coastal cities to the farthest provinces, bringing a harvest of souls into Your kingdom. We ask for a season of spiritual breakthrough and divine favor to rest upon this nation, that many may come to know You as their personal Savior and King. Amen.
