Praying for Portugal

Lord, we lift up Portugal to Your throne of grace, believing for a great awakening of faith across this nation. We pray for the people, that their eyes may be opened to the reality of Jesus Christ and that they would experience the joy of salvation. We ask for Your guidance upon the leaders and government, that they would seek Your wisdom in all their decisions and lead with compassion and truth. May the church within Portugal be strengthened and emboldened, serving as a salt and light that influences every aspect of society. We pray for lasting peace to define the national character and for the love of God to bridge any divides. As we are reminded in 1 Peter 2:9, may they become a chosen people, a royal priesthood, declaring the praises of Him who called them out of darkness into His marvelous light. Let Your presence be felt in every home and every life, sparking a movement of spiritual transformation that reaches the ends of their borders. We place Portugal in Your hands, trusting You to fulfill Your good purposes for their future. Amen.
