Family Prayer
The family is one of the most targeted institutions in the spiritual realm. The enemy knows that a united family is a fortress — and a divided family is a wound that spreads. That is why marriage comes under attack. That is why children drift. That is why siblings become estranged and parents and children stop being able to speak to one another. The attack is not accidental. It is intentional.
But Acts 16:31 records one of the most powerful promises in Scripture: "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved — you and your household." God is not indifferent to your family. He made a covenant promise to generations who walk with Him. Your prayers for your family are not falling on deaf ears. They are being registered in the courts of heaven, and they are doing something.
"Father, I cover my family under the blood of Jesus. I declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. I assign angels of protection around my children, my spouse, and every member of my household. I break every demonic assignment sent against our health, our safety, our minds, and our relationships. We are covered. We are protected. We are kept by the hand of God."
"Lord, restore peace to my home. Where there is division, bring reconciliation. Where there are walls between us, tear them down. I break every spirit of strife, contention, and division in the name of Jesus. I declare that my family is united in purpose, in love, and in faith. Let Your love be the force that holds us together."
"God, I stand on Acts 16:31 for every unsaved member of my family. I pray that the eyes of their understanding would be enlightened. Send laborers into their path. Let the conviction of the Holy Spirit rest on them and draw them to You. I pray that not one of them will be lost. Every one of them shall be saved in Jesus' name."
