Deliverance

Deliverance Prayer

Jesus came to set the captives free. That is not a metaphor — it is a mission statement. In Luke 4, when He stood in the synagogue and read from Isaiah 61, He said those words were being fulfilled that very day. He came for the broken, the bound, the oppressed. And before He ascended, He gave that same authority to every believer who carries His name.

Deliverance prayer is the act of using the authority of Jesus Christ to break every chain of bondage — whether that bondage comes from sin, from generational patterns, from demonic oppression, or from spiritual strongholds that have been built up over years. You were not designed for bondage. Freedom is your inheritance.

A Prayer for Deliverance

"Father God, in the name of Jesus, I come before You as someone who needs to be free. I renounce every agreement I have ever made with darkness — whether knowingly or unknowingly. I break every generational curse that has been passed down through my bloodline. I command every demonic spirit that has been operating in my life to leave now in the name of Jesus Christ. I am not your property. I have been bought with a price — the blood of the Lamb. I declare that my mind is free, my body is free, my emotions are free, and my spirit is free. I receive the Spirit of adoption and I declare that I am a child of God, walking in the liberty that Christ purchased for me. In Jesus' name, Amen."
