Freedom Through Christ
Biblical freedom through prayer, spiritual warfare, and the power of Christ
Deliverance ministry is the biblical practice of setting people free from spiritual oppression, bondage, and strongholds through the power and authority of Jesus Christ. It is based on Scripture such as Colossians 1:13, which says God "has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love."
At Sheldon Maddix Ministries, we approach deliverance through prayer, spiritual warfare, biblical truth, and the leading of the Holy Spirit. Our ministry serves New York and beyond, helping individuals experience the freedom that Christ provides.

Yes, deliverance is thoroughly biblical. Jesus cast out demons and gave His disciples authority to do the same (Mark 16:17). The early church practiced deliverance as part of ministry.
While Christians cannot be possessed (we are the temple of the Holy Spirit), believers can experience demonic oppression or influence in areas not surrendered to Christ.

You don't have to remain in bondage. Christ came to set the captives free.
