Delete Your Account & Data
You can request that your Sheldon Maddix Ministries account and your associated data be deleted at any time. This page explains exactly how to make the request, what is deleted, and what we are required to keep — and for how long.
How to request it
Two ways to delete your account
In the app — instant
- Sign in to your account in the app.
- Open Settings from the account menu.
- Under Danger Zone, tap Delete.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
Your account and associated data are removed immediately.
By email or phone
Email or call us with the email address on your account and ask for your account and data to be deleted. We complete verified requests within 7 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted when your account is deleted
Your account profile
Your account record, sign-in credentials, email address, and display name are permanently removed from our systems.
Course enrollment & progress
If you are enrolled in the School of the Prophet, your enrollment, lesson progress, quiz and exam scores, and certificate records are deleted.
Submissions you made through the app
Prayer requests, contact messages, Prayer Wall names, email list subscriptions, 1-on-1 booking details, volunteer applications, and speaking invitations submitted from your account are deleted.

What we keep, and for how long
Donation & payment records
Records of gifts and payments are retained for legal, tax, and accounting purposes for up to 7 years, as financial record-keeping laws require. Card numbers are held only by Stripe, our payment processor, and never stored by the ministry.
Messages already delivered to our office
Emails and prayer requests already delivered to the ministry office inbox cannot be recalled from those received messages, though your records in our systems are deleted.
Anonymous usage statistics
Aggregated, anonymous traffic and usage statistics are not tied to your identity and cannot be traced back to you once your account is deleted.
Retention period: account data is deleted immediately (in-app) or within 7 days (by request). Donation and payment records are the only personal records retained longer — up to 7 years — to meet financial record-keeping obligations.

Delete data without deleting your account
You don't need to delete your whole account
Yes — you can ask us to delete some or all of your data without deleting your account. For example, we can remove a prayer request, take your name off the Prayer Wall, unsubscribe you from the email list, or erase a single submission — while your account stays active.
Simply email office@sheldonmaddixministries.com or call (347) 469-0892 with the email address on your account and tell us which records to remove. We complete verified requests within 7 days and confirm by email.
Every completed deletion request — in-app or by email — receives a confirmation. If you have any questions about your data, our team will gladly walk you through exactly what is stored and what will be removed.
